Goodcall Alternatives: AI Receptionists Compared (2026)
Goodcall bills per unique customer with no per-minute charges: Starter is $79/mo for 100 unique customers (then 79¢ each), Growth $129 for 500 (then 26¢) and Scale $299 for 2,000 (then 15¢). Every plan includes a local number, and you can build and test a free demo agent before you pay. The alternatives below bill differently: Rosie sells minutes ($49/mo for 250, English and Spanish on every call), Dialzara too ($29/mo for 60, then $0.48/min), Trillet is $49/mo for 150 minutes, then $0.20/min, My AI Front Desk is $99/mo ($79/mo billed annually) for 200 voice minutes plus chat and texting, and Smith.ai bills per call (25 free a month, then $3.00 each; Pro is $150/mo for 75 calls). Prices are from each vendor's own pricing page.
Goodcall counts different callers, not minutes or calls. Before you compare, check last month's call log: how many different numbers called, and how long the calls ran.

What to check before you choose
- Work out what one unit costs. Goodcall Starter is 79¢ per included customer ($79 for 100), Growth about 25.8¢ ($129 for 500) and Scale about 15¢ ($299 for 2,000). On minute plans, Rosie Professional is about 19.6¢ a minute ($49 for 250), Trillet about 32.7¢ ($49 for 150) and Dialzara Lite about 48.3¢ ($29 for 60); Smith.ai Pro is $2.00 a call ($150 for 75). A caller who talks for 3 minutes uses 3 of those minutes but only 1 Goodcall customer.
- Repeat callers favor Goodcall. Its FAQ counts one phone number once a month, so the same person calling five times in March is one customer, and spam and wrong numbers don't count at all.
- Long calls favor Goodcall and Smith.ai, since neither meters minutes. Lots of short calls from different people favor minute plans.
- Spanish callers: Rosie answers in English and Spanish on every plan; Dialzara offers bilingual English and Spanish from its $99 Business Pro plan.
- Booking and transfers: Rosie's calendar booking and warm and live transfers start on its $149 Scale plan; Dialzara has blind transfer on every plan and warm transfer from $99 Pro.
- Try before you commit: Rosie and Dialzara have 7-day free trials, Smith.ai's Free plan covers 25 calls a month, and Trillet's receptionist has a 28-day money-back guarantee instead of a trial.
