Rosie AI Pricing (2026): Plans, Cost per Minute & Overage
Rosie sells three AI receptionist plans by the minute: Professional is $49 a month for 250 minutes, Scale is $149 for 1,000 minutes and Growth is $299 for 2,000 minutes, with a custom plan above that. Paying yearly gets two months free ($41, $124 or $249 a month). Every plan answers in English and Spanish and starts with a 7-day free trial. There is no per-minute overage: if you pass your minutes, Rosie moves you up to the next plan. Every price below is from Rosie's own pricing page and terms, read October 26, 2026. Cozzo hasn't test-called Rosie, so there are no measured results on this page.
Rosie has no per-minute overage. Go one minute past your plan and Rosie moves you up to the next plan, and you stay there until you move back down. So pick your plan from your busiest month, not your average one.
Rosie AI pricing 2026: $49/mo for 250 minutes, $149 for 1,000, $299 for 2,000. What happens when you go over, annual prices and the real cost per minute.

For multi-location or complex businesses. Rosie asks Growth customers who regularly pass 2,000 minutes to get in touch.
Per-minute figures are Cozzo's division of the plan price by its minutes, so they only hold if you use every minute. Minutes are counted from when the call connects to Rosie until it hangs up, in 60-second steps rounded up. Source: heyrosie.com/pricing

Cozzo's math from Rosie's published plans: the plan you'd end up on for that many minutes, and what each minute really costs you. Rosie has no overage rate, so going over means paying the next plan's price.

Cost at your call volume
Every pick that publishes computable prices, priced in the unit it actually bills: minutes, calls or unique callers. Cheapest first; change the numbers to match your business.
Your numbers are remembered on this device and carried to Cozzo's other cost calculators.
1.Goodcall
$94.80/mo
Lowest at these numbers
Starter: $79 plan covers 100 unique callers + 20 extra × $0.79 = $15.80.
Billed on unique callers (120 at your numbers). Billed per unique customer per month, with no per-minute charges, so repeat calls from the same person and long calls don't add cost. Pricing page
2.Trillet
$139/mo
AI Receptionist: $49 plan includes 150 min + 450 extra min × $0.20 = $90.
Billed on minutes (600 at your numbers). Inbound-only receptionist plan: 150 min included, then $0.20/min. Pricing page
3.Rosie
$149/mo
Scale: $149 plan includes 1,000 min.
Billed on minutes (600 at your numbers). English & Spanish on every plan. No per-minute overage: going past your minutes moves you up to the next plan, so Cozzo picks the smallest plan that covers your minutes. Pricing page
$189/mo
Business-in-a-Box: $99 plan includes 200 voice min + 1,000 overage credits (about 40 min) + 360 extra min × $0.25 = $90.
Billed on minutes (600 at your numbers). 200 voice minutes plus a monthly pool of 1,000 overage credits (about 40 more minutes). After that each minute is 25 credits ($0.25) via auto-reload. The vendor moves businesses above 25 interactions a day to custom Partner/Enterprise pricing. Pricing page
5.Dialzara
$239/mo
Business Plus: $199 plan includes 500 min + 100 extra min × $0.40 = $40.
Billed on minutes (600 at your numbers). Overage billed per minute above each plan's bucket. Bilingual (EN/ES) starts on Business Pro. Pricing page
6.Smith.ai
$385/mo
Pro 150: $270 plan covers 150 calls + 50 extra × $2.30 = $115.00.
Billed on calls (200 at your numbers). Billed per call, so call length doesn't matter. Calls from known spammers are filtered out and don't count; Smith.ai also lets you remove up to 10% of calls a cycle as spam (re-checked 2026-10-23). At 1,000+ calls a month Smith.ai quotes custom pricing. Pricing page
Assumptions: published monthly prices before tax, cheapest plan that fits, no annual discount, no add-ons, English calls. Plans without a published overage are only used up to their included amount.
What to check before you choose
- Plan for your busiest month. One month past 250 minutes moves you from $49 to $149, and Rosie's terms say a plan change that raises your fees applies to the current period and at least the next two. If a busy month could add up to about $300, ask Rosie in writing how that works before you sign up.
- Count billed minutes, not talk time. Rosie rounds every call up to the next full minute, so 150 calls of 70 seconds bill as 300 minutes, which is past Professional's 250.
- Booking and transfers start on Scale. Professional texts callers a booking link; booking straight onto your calendar and warm or live transfers need the $149 plan.
- Send only the calls you need. You can forward just after-hours or overflow calls to Rosie with conditional call forwarding, which keeps minutes down.
- Short on minutes? Dialzara starts lower ($29 for 60 minutes, then $0.48 a minute) and Trillet has a real overage rate ($49 for 150 minutes, then $0.20). Long calls favor Goodcall (per caller) and Smith.ai (per call).
- Download what you need. Rosie deletes call recordings after 30 days.
- Pay yearly only once your volume is steady. Yearly saves two months, but Rosie's pages don't say how a mid-year upgrade is billed.
Questions people ask
How much does Rosie AI cost?
Rosie is $49 a month for 250 minutes (Professional), $149 for 1,000 minutes (Scale) and $299 for 2,000 minutes (Growth), or $41, $124 and $249 a month billed yearly. Bigger and multi-location businesses can ask for a custom plan. Prices from heyrosie.com, read October 26, 2026.
What happens if I go over my Rosie minutes?
Rosie doesn't charge per extra minute. It emails you as you get close, and if you go over it moves you up to the next plan at that plan's normal price, without cutting off calls. You stay on the bigger plan until you move back down. Rosie's terms also say a plan change that raises your fees applies to the current billing period and at least the next two.
How much does Rosie cost per minute?
If you use every included minute, about 19.6¢ on Professional, 14.9¢ on Scale and 15.0¢ on Growth. Use fewer and each minute costs more: 100 minutes on Professional works out to 49¢ a minute.
Does Rosie have a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial of all features, and you can cancel before it ends without being charged.
How does Rosie count minutes?
From when the call connects to Rosie until it disconnects, in 60-second steps, with every call rounded up to the next full minute (Rosie's terms of service, updated February 5, 2026).
Which Rosie plan books appointments?
Scale ($149) and up book straight onto Google Calendar, Calendly, Acuity or Appointlet. On Professional ($49) Rosie texts callers a link so they can book themselves.
Does Rosie speak Spanish?
Yes. Every Rosie plan answers in English and Spanish.
Is Rosie cheaper than other AI receptionists?
For a few hundred minutes a month it's one of the cheapest per minute: $49 for 250 minutes is 19.6¢, against $49 for 150 minutes on Trillet or $29 for 60 minutes on Dialzara. But Trillet ($0.20) and Dialzara ($0.48) charge per extra minute, while Rosie moves you up a plan, so a month just over 250 minutes costs $149 on Rosie. Goodcall ($79 for 100 unique callers) and Smith.ai ($150 for 75 calls) don't count minutes at all.
