What to check before you choose
- Work out the price per included minute. Rosie Professional is about 19.6¢ a minute ($49 for 250), Trillet about 32.7¢ ($49 for 150), Dialzara Lite about 48.3¢ ($29 for 60) and My AI Front Desk about 49.5¢ ($99 for 200). That only holds if you use every minute.
- Plan for going over. Dialzara publishes $0.48 down to $0.35 per extra minute depending on plan, Trillet $0.20, My AI Front Desk 25 credits ($0.25) a minute from a 1,000-credit monthly pool, and Goodcall bills extra callers at its plan rate (79¢, 26¢ or 15¢).
- Spanish callers: Rosie includes English and Spanish on every plan; Dialzara offers bilingual English and Spanish from its $99 Business Pro plan.
- Booking and transfers: Rosie's calendar booking and warm and live transfers start on the $149 Scale plan; Dialzara has blind transfer on every plan and warm transfer from $99 Pro; Smith.ai can hand a call to its live North America-based receptionists.
- Long calls favor Goodcall and Smith.ai, since neither counts minutes. Goodcall counts each caller once a month, however often they call back.
- Try before you commit: Rosie and Dialzara have 7-day free trials, Goodcall lets you build and test a free demo agent before you connect a number, Smith.ai's Free plan covers 25 calls a month, and Trillet's receptionist has a 28-day money-back guarantee instead of a trial.
