My AI Front Desk Alternatives: AI Receptionists Compared (2026)

My AI Front Desk (Frontdesk) has one self-serve plan: Business-in-a-Box at $99/mo, or $79/mo billed annually, with 200 voice minutes, 100 website chatbot conversations and 400 texts a month, a built-in CRM and follow-up automations, plus a monthly pool of 1,000 overage credits (a voice minute is 25 credits, or $0.25). It starts with a 7-day free trial and has no contract. The alternatives below: Rosie sells bigger minute buckets ($49/mo for 250, $149 for 1,000) with English and Spanish on every call, Dialzara starts smaller ($29/mo for 60 minutes, then $0.48/min), Trillet is $49/mo for 150 minutes, then $0.20/min, Goodcall bills per unique customer with no per-minute charges ($79/mo for 100, then 79¢ each), and Smith.ai bills per call (25 free a month, then $3.00 each; Pro is $150/mo for 75 calls). Prices are from each vendor's own pricing page.

My AI Front Desk bundles website chat, texting and a CRM with its 200 voice minutes. If you only need calls answered, compare on voice minutes. If you'd really use the extras, count what they'd cost elsewhere.

What to check before you choose

  • Work out the price per included voice minute. My AI Front Desk is 49.5¢ a minute billed monthly ($99 for 200) or 39.5¢ billed annually ($79 for 200). Rosie Professional is about 19.6¢ ($49 for 250), Rosie Scale about 14.9¢ ($149 for 1,000), Trillet about 32.7¢ ($49 for 150) and Dialzara Lite about 48.3¢ ($29 for 60). That only holds if you use every minute.
  • Know how going over works. My AI Front Desk takes extra voice minutes from its 1,000-credit monthly pool at 25 credits ($0.25) a minute, which is about 40 minutes; unused pool credits expire each month, and auto-reload adds 1,000 credits for $10. Trillet charges $0.20 per extra minute and Dialzara $0.48 down to $0.35 depending on plan. Rosie's pricing page shows no per-minute overage rate.
  • Count the extras you'd actually use. My AI Front Desk includes 100 chatbot conversations and 400 texts a month. Rosie's website chat widget is free on every plan and its website texting add-on is $50/mo for 25 conversations ($1 each after that). Dialzara's website chatbot is free with its voice plans for 100 sessions a month ($0.15 per extra session), and its AI SMS agent is $19/mo plus $0.05 per AI message.
  • Spanish callers: Rosie answers in English and Spanish on every plan, and Dialzara offers bilingual English and Spanish from its $99 Business Pro plan. My AI Front Desk lists 20+ languages.
  • Long calls and repeat callers favor Goodcall and Smith.ai, since neither meters minutes. Goodcall counts one phone number once a month however often it calls back; Smith.ai Pro works out to $2.00 a call ($150 for 75).
  • Try before you commit: My AI Front Desk, Rosie and Dialzara have 7-day free trials, Smith.ai's Free plan covers 25 calls a month, Goodcall lets you build and test a free demo agent before you connect a number, and Trillet's receptionist has a 28-day money-back guarantee instead of a trial.
