Synthflow Pricing Explained (2026): The $30,000 Contract and How Minutes Are Billed
Synthflow no longer sells self-serve plans. Its pricing page lists one plan, Enterprise, and says contracts "start at $30,000 annually", with the final price scoped around call volume, concurrency, telephony setup, integrations, security needs and launch support. It doesn't publish a per-minute rate, but its docs explain exactly how minutes are counted. Every figure below is from synthflow.ai/pricing and Synthflow's docs, read October 24, 2026.
Synthflow only sells annual contracts now, starting at $30,000 a year. Below about 50,000 minutes a month, that minimum alone works out to more than Ultravox's flat 5¢ a minute, so price a pay-as-you-go platform before you book the sales call.
Synthflow now sells only enterprise contracts, from $30,000 a year. Here's what that minimum means per month and per minute, how Synthflow bills calls, chat and unanswered calls, what to ask for in your quote, and cheaper pay-as-you-go options.
How Synthflow counts a billable minute
Calls
Your contract rate
Measured per second from the moment the caller and the AI agent connect until the call ends, with partial seconds rounded up. Seconds add up across calls, so four calls totaling 125 seconds are billed as 2 minutes and the extra 5 seconds carry over.
Transferred calls
Stops at transfer
When a transfer goes through, Synthflow stops counting AI usage at the moment of transfer.
Unanswered calls
Flat 5 seconds
Calls that end as no-answer or hang up on voicemail are counted as 5 seconds each. Failed and user-canceled calls aren't billed.
Chat and simulations
5 messages = 1 minute
Chat over the API, widget, SMS and similar channels: every 5 AI-written messages count as 1 usage minute. Test Center simulations can be measured separately.
Phone line
Scoped in contract
Synthflow's own telephony, SIP trunking or an approved carrier. Synthflow's docs say international calling varies by destination, carrier and setup.

Synthflow's only published number is the $30,000-a-year contract minimum, shown here as $2,500 a month. Synthflow doesn't say how many minutes that buys, so the per-minute column is simply the minimum divided by your minutes, not a quote. Retell uses its lowest listed rate and Ultravox its flat rate; both are platform charges only, with the phone line extra. Want your own volume and carrier? Try the cost calculator.
Packages and add-ons
Enterprise
From $30,000/year
Sales-led annual agreement. The plan card lists contract SLA and support terms, Synthflow telephony or SIP trunking, custom concurrency planning and routing, CRM, calendar, webhook and API integrations, MSA/DPA and security review, plus implementation, onboarding, testing, training and launch support.
Older Pro, Growth and Agency plans
No longer sold
Synthflow's docs say these earlier plans had fixed concurrency limits and are no longer sold. Existing workspaces keep their limits.
Included minutes, overage and carryover
Set in your agreement
Plans with an allowance only charge for usage above it. Plan & Billing shows whether auto-overage is on and the rate per extra minute. Carryover of unused minutes only applies if your agreement includes it.
Concurrency and call attempts
Scoped with Synthflow
Your limit on live calls at once and on outbound calls started per second (CAPS) is agreed before launch. Over the limit, extra calls get an error or wait in a queue, depending on your setup.
Threshold invoices
Triggers, not caps
Some accounts get an invoice when unbilled usage reaches a set amount. Synthflow's docs warn that usage keeps adding up between checks, so the invoice can be higher than the threshold.
Agency reselling
Removed Sept 15, 2026
Synthflow no longer bills agency subaccounts for you. Subaccounts share the main account's concurrency limit.

What to check before you choose
- Get the per-minute rate in writing. The $30,000 is a floor, not a price. Ask for your rate per minute, the minutes included, the overage rate, whether unused minutes carry over, and your concurrency and call-attempt limits.
- Do the small-business math first. $30,000 a year is $2,500 a month before you take a single call. At 1,000 minutes a month that's at least $2.50 a minute; Retell starts at $0.07 a minute and Ultravox is $0.05, both pay as you go.
- Short calls cost less to round. Synthflow adds up seconds across calls instead of rounding each call up to a minute, so lots of quick calls don't get padded.
- Outbound lists cost more than they look. Every no-answer or voicemail hang-up counts as 5 seconds, and each warm transfer starts a new outbound call that uses your call-attempt limit (cold transfers don't).
- Don't treat billing thresholds as spending caps. Synthflow's docs say they're triggers, so ask your account team for real usage alerts or limits.
- Healthcare or payments? Synthflow's homepage lists SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS and GDPR, and its Enterprise docs list SOC 2, GDPR and ISO 27001 reviews. Confirm the HIPAA terms you need in the contract.
- Cozzo hasn't tested Synthflow on phone calls, because there's no self-serve plan to test with. Retell, Vapi, Ultravox, Bland AI and ElevenLabs Agents all have Cozzo phone-call results.
Questions people ask
How much does Synthflow cost?
Synthflow's enterprise contracts start at $30,000 a year, which is $2,500 a month. It doesn't publish a per-minute rate, included minutes or an overage rate; the final price is scoped around call volume, concurrency, telephony, integrations, security needs and launch support.
Does Synthflow have pay as you go or a monthly plan?
Not for new customers. Synthflow's pricing page lists only Enterprise, and its docs say the earlier Pro, Growth and Agency plans are no longer sold. Existing workspaces on those plans keep their limits.
How does Synthflow bill a call?
Per second, from when the caller and the AI agent connect until the call ends or a transfer goes through, with partial seconds rounded up. Seconds add up across calls into whole minutes: four calls totaling 125 seconds show as 2 minutes, with 5 seconds carried over.
Does Synthflow charge for unanswered calls?
A little. No-answer calls and calls that hang up on voicemail count as a flat 5 seconds each. Failed and user-canceled calls aren't billed.
Is Synthflow chat billed?
Yes, as minutes: every 5 AI-written chat messages (API, widget, SMS and similar) count as 1 usage minute at your agreed rate. Test Center simulations can be measured separately.
Is Synthflow HIPAA compliant?
Synthflow's homepage says its infrastructure is certified across SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS and GDPR, and its Enterprise docs list SOC 2, GDPR and ISO 27001 reviews. Confirm the HIPAA terms you need in your contract.
What's a cheaper alternative to Synthflow?
For smaller volumes, pay-as-you-go platforms: Retell AI is $0.07 to $0.31 a minute, Ultravox $0.05 a minute, Vapi $0.05 a minute for hosting plus the models you pick, and Bland AI's Start plan $0.14 a minute. Our Synthflow alternatives guide compares them.
Has Cozzo tested Synthflow?
Not yet. Synthflow has no self-serve plan, so it isn't in Cozzo's phone-call tests. Retell AI, Vapi, Ultravox, Bland AI and ElevenLabs Agents are.
